The Department of National Defence, through Defence Research and Development Canada’s Suffield Research Centre, requires one intensified, multichannel ultra-high-speed framing camera system for imaging transient fluid-hydrodynamic and impact phenomena. The system must provide at least eight independently controlled imaging channels, nanosecond-scale timing and exposure control, independently adjustable gain and timing, and a Nikon F-mount entrance objective. Mandatory requirements include S25 photocathodes, image intensifiers with adjustable gain, at least 12-bit readout sensors, CMOS, sCMOS, CCD, or ICCD sensor technology, Gigabit Ethernet control over distances up to 100 metres, Windows 10-or-later compatibility, TIFF or RAW image export, specified dimensional and weight limits, one-year parts-and-labor warranty, and an included protective hard case. The award will be recommended to the lowest-priced technically compliant supplier that already holds the applicable E60PV-19EQUI supply arrangement; suppliers not pre-qualified under that arrangement will not be evaluated.
