Description
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is seeking a contractor to update the current edition of Countermeasures That Work and produce the 13th edition in electronic and final print formats. The work includes developing literature-search and screening strategies; obtaining, critically reviewing, evaluating, and synthesizing empirical research; identifying emerging countermeasures and implementation considerations; soliciting user feedback; preparing letter reports and rolling chapter updates; and applying quality-control procedures, APA 7th Edition style, and Microsoft Word Track Changes or a compatible alternative. The contractor must update approximately three to four program-area chapters per calendar year, provide a final consolidated guide and supporting literature-review documentation, and submit monthly progress reports. The solicitation is for a single, full-and-open Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee completion contract with a 60-month period of performance. The technical proposal is limited to 15 pages excluding specified supporting materials, and the business/cost proposal must include the required cost, travel, and other-direct-cost templates.
