Description
Woodland Community Unit School District 5 is soliciting proposals for a bundled Internet solution consisting of dedicated symmetric fiber Internet access and a transport circuit, with a minimum bandwidth of 1 Gbps and scalable service up to 5 Gbps during the contract term. The solution must include a managed router, with the manufacturer and model identified in the proposal, and must provide pricing for 1 Gbps, 2 Gbps, and up to 5 Gbps service tiers, including estimated taxes and surcharges. The solicitation requests separate pricing for installation and configuration if required for new service or upgrades, as well as pre-negotiated rates for future bandwidth changes. Proposed services must support E-Rate requirements, identify eligible and ineligible costs, provide the vendor's valid 498 ID (SPIN), include agreement to maintain a current FCC Form 473 certification, and offer both SPI and BEAR payment options. The contract may be structured as either three or five years, with two voluntary 12-month extensions; services are scheduled to begin July 1, 2027. Price is the primary evaluation factor, followed by technical compliance, relevant experience, E-Rate capability, and proximity of the vendor's service center.
