Description
This solicitation seeks a contractor to Engineer, Furnish, Install, and Test (EFI&T) a new fiber optic transmission system (FOTS) to replace the existing Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) Channel Banks at Aviano Air Base, Italy. The new system will support radio, voice, and data requirements across seven facilities, including the Instrument Landing System (ILS) shelters (Localizer and Glideslope), TACAN, Ground/Air Transmitter/Receiver (GATR), Ramp Control (RAPCON), Tower, and Alternate Tower. The scope includes all necessary materials, labor, travel, and direct shipping costs. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order, awarded to the responsible offeror whose quote represents the best value based on price, delivery, technical acceptability, and past performance. The procurement is for brand-name commercial supplies and services from TC Communications, Inc.
