Description
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre is soliciting a full technical and financial proposal for a six-month consultancy to acquire airborne LiDAR and high-resolution aerial imagery covering the entirety of Saint Kitts and Nevis. The scope includes GNSS/IMU data collection, ground control and checkpoint surveys, LiDAR processing and classification, accuracy assessment, orthorectified imagery and orthomosaic production, and generation of DEM, DSM, DTM, contours, breaklines, terrain derivatives, hazard-modeling layers, and GIS-ready datasets. The consultant must provide data in specified formats, including LAS/LAZ, GeoTIFF, File Geodatabase, and GeoPackage, with ISO 19115-compliant metadata and government perpetual-use licensing. The assignment also includes data integration, documentation, user manuals, training and knowledge transfer for at least four government staff, workshops, and final handover. A qualified consulting firm must demonstrate at least seven years of LiDAR experience, comparable airborne LiDAR and orthomosaic projects, relevant large-area or national mapping assignments, and appropriately qualified key experts. The stated budget is USD 300,000, inclusive of fees, travel, taxes, and profit.
