Description
The Virgin Islands Department of Education is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of household and cleaning supplies. The solicitation includes approximately 88 line items, including powdered cleanser, oven cleaner, general-purpose degreaser, mop heads, mop buckets with wringers, heavy-duty mopsticks, angle brooms, and scouring pads. Bidders must identify the brands, manufacturers, models, and packaging offered for each item; brand-name-or-equal products may be considered when clearly identified and supported with sufficient descriptive information. The contract will operate for one year, with a possible additional one-year renewal subject to funding. Quantities are estimates, and purchases will be made through purchase orders based on actual needs. Deliveries must generally be made within 20 calendar days after receipt of an official purchase order, with the contractor responsible for transportation, unloading, and delivery to the ordering department. Required submission materials include the completed bid form, organization and personnel information, project experience, two reference letters, applicable business and corporate documents, a non-collusion affidavit, proof of SAM.gov registration, applicable insurance documentation, and other supporting records specified in the solicitation.
