Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is soliciting bids for services to replace the existing smoke control system at Building 451 of the Pleasant Valley State Prison Correctional Treatment Center. The work includes design, engineering, submittals, installation, programming, inspection of existing equipment, integration with existing fire alarm and HVAC systems, training of institution personnel, and all related labor, materials, equipment, permits, insurance, bonds, transportation, and other expenses. The project must comply with applicable fire-safety requirements and prevailing-wage rules. The State's estimated agreement value is $298,704.00. The agreement term ends 180 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid complies with the solicitation requirements.
