Description
The Purchasing from People with Disabilities Advisory Board is soliciting janitorial services for the Farmington Public Safety Building, an approximately 8,500-square-foot facility. Work includes cleaning lobby and office areas, breakrooms, restrooms, entrances, and janitorial closets, with specified daily, monthly, and quarterly tasks. Services are scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.; certain locked vaults, mechanical and equipment areas, designated supply and storage rooms, and telephone equipment rooms are included under DFCM supervision. Bidders must be community rehabilitation programs meeting the stated eligibility requirements, including a minimum 75% employment ratio of program employees with service disabilities, a Utah principal place of business, and a majority of associated service-providing individuals residing in Utah. The proposal must include a complete tentative service schedule and the completed cost proposal form. The contract is for three years, with two one-year renewal options, and the contractor must perform the work through individuals directly employed and supervised by the contractor.
