Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, is seeking construction services to repair the Missouri Valley Levee. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competitive acquisition for a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The scope of work includes earthwork, fill material placement, haul road development, debris clearing, erosion and rutting repair, levee surfacing, stone placement, installation and rehabilitation of drainage structures, and turf establishment for compromised levee sections. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The estimated performance period is approximately 270 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. A bid bond of 20% of the offeror's proposed price or $3,000,000.00, whichever is less, will be required. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for 100% of the awarded contract value. Bids will be due on a date and time to be specified in the solicitation, which is anticipated to be released within 60 days. Electronic bid submission is required through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at https://wawf.eb.mil. Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov and PIEE. Further details regarding a site visit will be provided in the solicitation.
