Description
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is soliciting proposals for the design and construction of two new bridge crossings on 213 Road in Polk County, Arkansas: the Robinson Creek and Rolling Fork crossings. The work includes bridge design, surveying and staking, mobilization, concrete abutments and related structural components, bridge superstructures, stream diversion and water management, approach-road construction, guardrail tie-ins, final grading and road tie-in, permanent erosion and streambank protection, removal of temporary diversion devices, cleanup, and demobilization. Existing bridge demolition will be performed by AGFC. Each crossing is divided into two phases: Phase 1 covers design and construction of the new crossing, and Phase 2 covers associated approaches and final stabilization. Bridges must meet specified load, width, span, deck, reinforcement, guardrail, and waterway-alignment requirements, comply with permitting and Build America, Buy America requirements, and be supported by a practical, structurally sound design with a visual representation. Contractors must demonstrate at least five years of bridge-installation experience, including three 40-foot-span bridges completed within the past ten years, and provide operator qualifications, project references, photographs, insurance documentation, and a 5% bid bond or certified check. The initial contract term is up to one year, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement.
