The Defense Logistics Agency intends to establish a five-year indefinite-quantity contract for NSN 1560-01-686-8294, a cover, access, aircraft used with FA-18 aircraft. The estimated annual quantity is 40 units. Production units will be delivered FOB destination, with inspection and acceptance at destination. The item is not designated as critical or a critical safety item; export control applies, and surge requirements do not apply. The notice is a presolicitation and states that the Government may solicit and negotiate with one or a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302. Interested vendors may identify their capability, and responses received by the stated deadline will be considered in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Technical data is expected to become available through DIBBS/cFolders when the solicitation is issued.
