Description
Coachella Valley Water District is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of Well Nos. 5711-2 and 5727-1. The work includes pump-house and permanent pump removal, pump and motor inspection, downhole video, casing-thickness, caliper, spinner, deviation, and discrete-zone water-quality surveys; mechanical brushing and dual-swab airlift redevelopment; temporary discharge storage and conveyance; step-discharge and constant-discharge pumping tests; water-level recovery testing; well disinfection and flushing; and reinstallation or replacement of permanent vertical turbine pumps and motors. The contractor must provide the required equipment, temporary tanks and discharge systems, submittals, testing records, and final documentation. The project requires a California C57 contractor license, at least 30% self-performance, a minimum of four similar projects valued at $300,000 or more within the past five years, a 10% bid bond, 100% payment and performance bonds, CARB compliance documentation, broker-signed insurance certification, and installation floater/builders risk and pollution liability coverage. The estimated bid value is $500,000, and the stated contract duration is 240 calendar days.
