Description
Zavalla Independent School District is soliciting proposals for a fully managed leased lit-fiber Internet access solution serving all district locations, terminating at the Zavalla Tech Building. Vendors must provide bandwidth options from approximately 1 Gbps through 5 Gbps, bid in 1 Gbps increments, and include installation, activation, initial configuration, maintenance, technical support, scalability, and optional 1-, 3-, and 5-year contract terms. The solicitation also requests a district-wide Palo Alto PA-850 or equivalent firewall appliance, related components, software, and licenses, plus basic maintenance and managed internal broadband services. Installation is required for the firewall equipment, and proposals must clearly separate eligible and ineligible costs. A completed "Zavalla_C1 Vendor attachment" is required. Proposals must comply with applicable E-Rate and Texas Education Agency purchasing requirements and must be submitted through the designated electronic RFP system.
