Description
The City of Tupelo is soliciting sealed or electronic bids for construction of an access-drive intersection serving the Chickasaw Heritage Center and connecting to the Natchez Trace Parkway. The work includes earthwork, storm drainage, base construction, paving, striping, and other work specified in the contract drawings and specifications. Each bid must include bid security equal to 5% of the total bid in the form of a bid bond, certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. Government bonds. Bids exceeding $50,000 must include the contractor’s current certificate of responsibility number on the outside of the envelope, or a statement that the bid does not exceed $50,000. Minority- and woman-owned businesses are solicited as prime contractors and encouraged to inquire about subcontracting opportunities.
