Description
The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center is conducting market research for preservation, hull, mechanical, and electrical/electronic repairs to four USS Green Bay trailerable boats: 7MRBX0502, 7MRB0503, 11MRX1401, and 11MRX0504. The work is contemplated for performance from January 25, 2027, through December 21, 2027, at the contractor's facility within 50 miles of 32nd Street Naval Base San Diego. Interested firms must submit a capabilities statement of no more than five pages addressing company information, business size, point-of-contact information, technical capabilities, relevant past or current contracts and subcontracts, similar repair experience, the ability to perform at least 51 percent of the work in-house, and whether the work would be performed at a qualifying facility. This is a Sources Sought market-research notice, not a request for proposal or a formal solicitation.
