Bay County Board of County Commissioners is requesting statements of qualifications from certified public accounting firms to provide independent, as-needed audits, examinations, investigations, and related financial services for the Board and authorized County departments, offices, agencies, and other entities. The services are intended to supplement, not replace, the County’s annual financial audit required by Section 218.39, Florida Statutes; that annual audit is expressly excluded from this solicitation. Services must be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the U.S. Government Auditing Standards, the Federal Single Audit Act, OMB Title 2 CFR requirements for federal awards, the Florida Single Audit Act, applicable Rules of the Auditor General, Section 218.39, and other applicable regulations. The solicitation requests statements of qualifications rather than a guaranteed volume of work.
