Description
The City of Glendale is soliciting quotes for one new 2027-or-newer Freightliner 114SD Plus or equal chassis equipped with a CNG-powered 10-yard single-engine sewer cleaner/vacuum body. The required configuration includes a 1,000-gallon water tank, high-pressure water pump, vacuum blower and boom system, 800-foot sewer hose reel, debris body, operator controls, safety equipment, tools, storage, manuals, and related accessories. The vehicle must meet the detailed 22-page specifications, be new and not discontinued, and include a minimum three-year/36,000-mile factory warranty. The vendor must be an authorized manufacturer dealer, complete the provided specification form, and submit a specification sheet for any equal item. Pricing must include delivery FOB Glendale, California. The quote may be submitted electronically through the PlanetBids portal or as one original paper copy in a sealed, properly marked envelope; email and fax submissions are not accepted.
