Description
Parks Canada Agency is soliciting construction services to temporarily stabilize approximately 36 metres of Lavoir Creek at Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site. The work includes installing a cofferdam, pumps, sediment controls, and protective measures; manually removing and disposing of existing sandbags; preparing the creek slopes with geotextile fabric, MG-56, and stone dust; and supplying and installing articulated concrete mats, anchors, and corner stones. The contractor must also protect archaeological remnants, manage site access, provide sanitary facilities, maintain site cleanliness, and comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and national parks requirements. Bids must follow a two-submission procedure. Submission 1 is the Indigenous Participation Plan and associated documents; Submission 2 is the Bid and Acceptance Form and Combined Price Form. The Indigenous Participation Plan is evaluated at 10% and price at 90%. The estimated project value is between CAD 100,001 and CAD 250,000, excluding taxes. The work must be completed by November 20, 2026. Bid and contract security are expressly not required, while insurance is required after award and before work begins.
