Description
The Village of Briarcliff Manor is soliciting bids for residential street lighting upgrades on a unit-quantity basis. The work includes removing and disposing of existing light fixtures, poles, wiring, and concrete bases; furnishing and installing replacement post-mounted LED fixtures, aluminum poles, precast concrete foundations, underground wiring, handholes, fuses, grounding, connections, excavation, and site restoration. Existing equipment is to be delivered to the Village Department of Public Works yard as specified, with utility coordination required for electrical service work. The bid requires completion within 90 working days after receipt of all required materials. Bidders must provide evidence of three prior projects and contacts, comply with New York prevailing-wage requirements, submit a 5% bid bond or qualifying check, and include required insurance, licensing, contractor-registration, non-collusive certification, and bid proposal materials. The successful contractor must provide performance, labor and material payment, and maintenance bonds and self-perform at least 75% of the work.
