Description
Polk County Highway Department is soliciting proposals for the CTH G project, consisting of milling and placing a 2-inch hot-mix asphalt overlay on approximately 5.47 miles of existing roadway from STH 46 to CTH I. The attached specifications estimate approximately 8,558 tons of plant-mixed asphalt and require compliance with Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications 450–465 and FDM Chapters 14 and 19. The contractor must make the material available throughout the 2026 construction season. Polk County will provide trucking for all asphalt and traffic control in accordance with the applicable traffic-control manual. The proposal must state a price per ton and include contractor information and an authorized signature.
