Description
The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz requires comprehensive recycling and solid waste management services across multiple installations. The contractor must collect, transport, segregate, store, recycle, and dispose of recyclable and non-hazardous solid waste, while providing approximately 300 collections per month and transporting approximately 80 metric tons of recyclables per month. The contractor must supply, lease, maintain, service, move, and replace approximately 150 bins, containers, and compactors, along with approximately 12 portable pedestal steps. The scope includes collection vehicles and reserve equipment, scheduled and on-call services, container cleaning and repair, recyclable-material segregation, reporting, emergency response, and compliance with German, U.S., Army, environmental, safety, and installation-access requirements.
