Description
The Department of the Navy is seeking a contractor to provide integrated solid waste management services at Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCI-PAC) Camp Smedley D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan. The contract includes recurring and non-recurring services with an anticipated base period of 12 months and seven 12-month option periods, for a total of eight years. The project requires the collection of solid waste, including non-residential and general waste, and the disposal of all wastes. The contractor will provide containers for unscheduled collections, functioning as collection points for refuse generated during special events at U.S. Government Installations on Okinawa. The services include labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment for refuse collection, disposal, and recycling at Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, including Camp Foster, Camp Kinser, MCAS Futenma, Camp Lester, Plaza, and Buckner Communication Site. The contractor must be authorized to operate in Japan and comply with all Japanese laws and regulations, including possessing valid permits and licenses for waste collection and transportation.
