Description
The City of Kalispell is soliciting bids for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to remove surfacing, regrade, and reconstruct West Montana Street between North Main Street and First Avenue West North, plus part of the First Avenue West North block south of the intersection. The work includes installing or replacing curb and gutter and sidewalks, removing and replacing ADA ramps, adjusting catch basins, and installing a valley gutter. The contractor and bidding or performing subcontractors must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry at bid submission. Bids must include 10% bid security. The successful bidder must provide full-contract-amount performance and payment security through Surety2000, comply with Montana prevailing-wage requirements, and provide insurance naming the City of Kalispell as an additional insured. Award will go to the lowest responsible bidder, subject to funding and City Council concurrence.
