Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting bids for turnkey hybrid solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems supporting five-ton-per-day flake ice plants at three sites: Al-Khokah in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, Al Ordhi/Bab Al-Mandab in Taiz Governorate, and Husawin in Al-Mahra Governorate, Yemen. Bidders may submit for one or more lots, but each selected lot must be bid as a complete package. The scope includes engineering, site verification, procurement, transport, civil and structural works, PV arrays and mounting structures, approximately 134.4 kWp of PV capacity per site, two 100 kVA inverter sets, four 100 kWh battery sets, electrical panels and protection, cabling, earthing and lightning protection, monitoring and control, testing, commissioning, operator training, documentation, warranties, and one year of maintenance. The contract duration is 150 calendar days from commencement, with a 12-month defects liability period and required performance security of 10% of the contract amount. Bids must include the prescribed eligibility, technical, pricing, compliance, experience, financial, personnel, and bid-security documentation.
