Description
Fisheries and Oceans Canada requires mobilization, demobilization, cleanup, propeller wash dredging, and clamshell dredging at three Small Craft Harbour sites. The contractor must provide the labour, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, quality control, health and safety practices, and environmental protection needed to complete the work. Dredging targets are approximately 2.5 metres below Chart Datum at two sites and 3.5 metres below Chart Datum at the third. Work must follow specified tide, sediment-placement, and fish-habitat protection measures, including having a qualified environmental monitor on site during in-water work.
