Description
The City of Kenner is soliciting a contractor to repair, maintain, rebuild, replace, install, and upgrade wastewater pumps, pump controls, motors, right-angle gear drives, bypass pumps, and related equipment on an as-needed basis. The scope includes motor rewinding, machining, welding, alignment, testing, calibration, balancing, lubrication, cleaning, disinfection when required, and installation of new or reconditioned components. The contractor must provide qualified, factory-trained personnel, an equipped machine shop, replacement parts, tools, testing devices, and documented quality-control practices. The contractor must provide 24-hour service seven days a week, including holidays, with an on-site response time of no more than two hours when needed. The work includes emergency repairs, maintenance, and installations at wastewater facilities, with specified warranty requirements for repaired, rebuilt, reconditioned, rewound, and new equipment. The agreement will not exceed $300,000 annually and terminates June 30, 2028.
