Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command is preparing draft MIL-STD-1623F(NAVY), Fire Performance Requirements and Approved Specifications for Interior Finish Materials and Furnishings (Naval Shipboard Use). The draft is intended to accommodate varied design solutions and processes and encourage a broad vendor base. This is a special notice and explicitly not a solicitation. Interested parties may request a copy of the draft by email, using the document number in the subject line and briefly requesting the document. The review period ends October 30, 2026; the final document may later be available through ASSIST Online.
