Description
The Mahoning Valley Sanitary District is soliciting bids for the furnishing and delivery of an anionic, high-molecular-weight polyacrylamide-based flocculant polymer for use at its water purification plant. Estimated usage is 300 to 400 50-pound bags during the January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, contract period. The product must comply with NSF/ANSI 60 and applicable USEPA drinking-water treatment standards, be supplied in granular form, and be delivered prepaid by truck in quantities and on dates designated by the District. Bidders must complete the provided proposal and material quality/qualification questionnaire, including manufacturer, brand, product information, and prior municipal water-treatment facility use. The bid must include a 10% bid guaranty based on the highest estimated usage; the successful bidder must provide a performance bond for the full contract amount. A non-collusion affidavit and bid bond form are also included in the solicitation package. A delivery contractor project-specific safety plan is required from the successful bidder after award.
