Description
The City seeks a vendor to supply alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, provide trained staff, and operate the venue’s bars for events. The vendor must coordinate bar locations and staffing with the venue manager and be able to scale service for events of up to 1,600 guests, including a stated example requiring nine bars, 18 bartenders, and ID checkers. The vendor must provide necessary bar and service equipment, manage ice for larger events, and handle cleanup, trash removal, and removal of its materials after each event. Proposals must describe the firm’s qualifications and experience, provide at least three professional references, list current alcohol licenses, explain its service plan, and include photos of its bar equipment. A price list must cover specified beverage categories, setup and other fees, signature drinks, and donated-alcohol fees. The vendor must acknowledge a 10% payment to the City on beverage sales and service fees, excluding gratuities. The selected vendor must obtain a special-events retail alcohol license and maintain at least $1 million each in dram shop/liquor liability and general liability insurance, naming the City and its representatives as additional insureds. The contract term is three years, and the vendor is expected to be ready to begin work by April 1, 2027.
