Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is establishing an Open Construction Source List (OCSL) for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil construction services required by the Department of National Defence in Nunavut, including sites in Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet, Alert, and North Warning System sites. The OCSL will cover three fiscal years from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2029. Contractors and suppliers must apply through MERX and indicate their preferred official language. The OCSL will be used to tender construction services with an estimated value of $10 million and below. Tenders may be set aside for Indigenous businesses under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business. Contractors must have an active MERX account to bid. DCC may require additional pre-qualification, security clearances, and performance evaluations.
