Description
Zavalla Independent School District is soliciting proposals for Category 1 leased lit fiber internet access with bandwidth from 1 Gbps to 5 Gbps. Installation and initial configuration may be required, and eligible installation costs are requested to be paid over four years. The Category 2 requirements include firewall equipment, related components, necessary software and licenses, basic maintenance of firewall components, and managed internal broadband services for existing equipment. Palo Alto or an equivalent is identified for the internal-connections firewall requirement. Vendors may propose equivalent, higher-quality, different-quantity, or more cost-effective offerings, subject to the associated RFP specifications and applicable Texas procurement guidelines.
