Description
Palm Beach County is issuing a Request for Pre-Qualification (RPQ # 25-066/JW) for vendors capable of supplying various types of metal products. This includes a wide range of materials such as aluminum, black iron, steel, and stainless steel in various forms like angles, channels, plates, sheets, pipe, rebar, and tubing. The contract will be a term contract, meaning vendors will be pre-qualified to provide these goods on an as-needed basis throughout the contract term. Vendors interested in pre-qualifying must have an established business with sufficient personnel and expertise. The county will maintain a list of pre-qualified vendors, and ordering departments will contact these vendors to request written quotes for specific projects. Awards for individual projects will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible vendor, subject to Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Local Preference provisions. The estimated expenditure for the sixty (60) month period is $601,750.
