Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources to provide a pump storage platform for McNary Lock and Dam. The work includes fabrication of structural steel components, galvanizing, grating and bolted connections, to include columns with diagonal bracing, beams with stiffener plates, guardrail system with top/mid rail and toe plates, self-closing swing gates, beam seat connections, fall protection anchors with welded base plates, standard and custom bar grating, and various bolt sizes and grades. All fabricated items shall be hot dipped galvanized and all bolts and anchors shall be galvanized per manufacturer. All fabricated assemblies will be fit up at the fabrication shop prior for final acceptance prior to shipping, then disassembled. Once delivered and accepted, the Government will assemble and install the platform onsite. The platform is comprised of both standard steel shapes and welded, built-up members constructed of plates and tube steel.
