Description
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is seeking applications from qualified contractors to utilize Department of Energy State Energy Efficiency Revolving Loan Fund (DOE-EERLF) funds for projects financed by single-family residential customers. This program aims to spur investment in energy efficiency and decarbonization measures for single-family residential housing by offering low-interest rate loans to low-to-moderate-income (LMI) homeowners. Projects include energy efficiency measures such as smart thermostats and the installation of air and ground source heat pumps. Funds will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, with up to $400,000.00 reserved per Qualified Applicant. Contractors must have been in active full status with the PSEG Long Island Home Comfort Program or Home Performance Program for a minimum of two years, or with the Green Jobs-Green New York (GJGNY) Residential Financing Program for a minimum of one year with at least ten completed projects.
