Description
The Department of Sports, Parks & Recreation is soliciting bids for reconstruction of the Randall Doc James Racetrack. The work includes clearing trees, stumps, and vegetation; removing and grading infield vegetation; construction surveying and staking; soil erosion and sediment controls; riprap installation; excavation and embankment; full-depth reclamation with cement; and installation and compaction of government-supplied untreated aggregate courses. The solicitation identifies approximately 317,197 square feet of track-surface clearing, along with drainage integration, slope and grade work, stabilization of the track base, and related construction activities. A subcontractor participation goal form and mandatory supporting-document list are included in the solicitation package. Electronic quotes are permitted, and a pre-bid conference is scheduled through Microsoft Teams.
