Description
The Town of Yorktown is soliciting bids to supply a comprehensive range of water maintenance materials for its water distribution system. Items include fire hydrants and hydrant repair or extension kits; resilient-wedge gate valves; repair clamps, couplings, tapping sleeves, mechanical-joint fittings, adapters, and restraints; ductile iron, PVC, copper, and polyethylene water pipe; curb stops, corporations, curb boxes, valve boxes, and related components; and water meter equipment. The bid also covers positive-displacement and electromagnetic smart water meters, radio and touch-read meter endpoints, meter setters, meter pits and covers, remote wire, and associated installation hardware. Products must meet the stated AWWA, NSF, ASTM, ANSI, and other applicable standards, be compatible with the Town’s water distribution system, and generally be supplied as new, standard products. Bidders must complete and sign the Bid Proposal Form and Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate, submit sealed bids, and provide unit pricing for the listed items. Delivery is required no later than 45 days after an order is placed.
