Description
The contractor will provide ongoing service, monitoring, and maintenance for the existing distributed antenna system (DAS) head end. Work includes semiannual inspections and network testing, remote 24/7 monitoring, help-desk support, troubleshooting, on-site repairs, engineering and redesign related to system changes, and coordination with mobile network operators. The contractor must supply the personnel, tools, test equipment, replacement parts, and other resources needed for the work, and provide maintenance reports and commercial warranty coverage. Replacement equipment may be brand name or equal. The performance work statement describes a base year and four option years. It also specifies next-business-day dispatch for on-site repairs, with normal business hours defined as Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding national holidays. The notice is a Sources Sought announcement, not a request for proposals.
