Description
The Department of the Navy is soliciting offers for the repair of a DISPLAY UNIT. The contract will require the contractor to meet operational and functional requirements as represented by the provided Cage Code and reference number (03956, 4302542-3). All repair work must adhere to the contractor's repair/overhaul standard practices, manuals, and directives, including drawings, technical orders, and approved repair standards. Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N. The solicitation also includes provisions for changes in design, material, servicing, or part number, with specific codes to be used for notification. Government Source Inspection (GSI) is required, and all freight is FOB Origin. The Navy will handle freight as per the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) Statement of Work. The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring contractor acceptance prior to execution. Accelerated delivery is encouraged and accepted at no additional cost. The government intends to add an option quantity to the resultant contract. The solicitation also details requirements for inspection and testing of repaired items, packaging in accordance with MIL-STD-2073, and provides ordering information for various document references.
