Description
The Department of Health and Human Services, through the National Institutes of Health and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, intends to procure Medidata Remote Source Review software-as-a-service for clinical trial monitoring on a sole-source basis. The requirement includes software subscriptions and licenses, hosting, maintenance, updates, technical support, and related services to provide uninterrupted access for authorized Government users and designated clinical trial stakeholders. The platform supports secure remote access to participant medical records and study source documents, source document review, and source data verification. The notice identifies Medidata Solutions, Inc. as the original publisher and incumbent contractor and states that Medidata does not permit external parties to host the software; therefore, the agency considers Medidata the only available source. Interested responsible sources may submit a written capability statement, although the notice is not a request for competitive quotations.
