Description
Huntington School District 16J is soliciting proposals for a fully managed, leased lit fiber transport circuit supporting wide area network and internet access services. The required solution must provide dedicated symmetrical 1 Gbps transport, scalable from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps, between the specified district endpoints, with service-level commitments including 99.99% network availability, latency, jitter, packet-loss, outage-response, and restoration standards. Proposals must include service and network descriptions, a proposed SLA, implementation timeline, demarcation details, logical network diagram, detailed electronic fiber pathway map, sample contract, three recent customer references, pricing for 3-year and 5-year terms, and optional extensions. If applicable, proposers must also provide special-construction pricing and supporting worksheets. Installation, permitting, construction, restoration, as-built documentation, and compliance with applicable codes are included in the scope. The proposal is limited to 50 pages, with attachments excluded from that limit, and the combined electronic submission may not exceed 50 MB.
