Description
Marshall University seeks bids for a one-time purchase of one pre-owned Class 5 stake bed truck for its Sustainability Department. The truck must include a lift gate, a minimum 10-foot stake bed, crew cab, air conditioning, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, power windows, locks and mirrors, dual front, side and head airbags, an 18,000-pound towing capacity, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Electric shift-on-the-fly 4x4 with manual locking hubs is preferred; vinyl interior is required, though cloth will be considered; and either gasoline or diesel fuel is acceptable. Bidders must provide pricing for the truck, including freight, and state the delivery date. The award is intended for the compliant bid with the lowest overall total cost. Delivery is required within five working days after receipt of a purchase order or notice to proceed.
