Description
The City of Williamsburg is soliciting sealed bids for FY27 citywide street resurfacing and related public-right-of-way improvements. Work includes pavement milling; placement of virgin bituminous concrete asphalt; pavement markings; concrete entrances; sidewalks; curbing; detectable warning surfaces; utility-frame and cover adjustments; and traffic maintenance. The project covers Armistead Avenue, streets in the Port Anne subdivision, and the municipal building parking area. The contractor must complete the work within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit pricing for the base bid and additive bid for the municipal building parking entrance and parking area. The solicitation requires a 5% bid bond, and the successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Contractor registration in Virginia is required, and the bid package includes the IFB cover page, submission form, bid form, bid bond, debarment certification, safety certification, and non-collusion affidavit.
