Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting bids for the complete Package 7 scope under the Integrated Water Resources Management to Enhance Resilience of Agriculture and Food Security project. The contractor must execute all six interventions in Tuban District, Lahj Governorate: rehabilitation of the Obar Al-Hadharim, Obar Al-Tha'alab, Obar Al-Ihssan, Obar Fareed, Obar Al-Makharij, and Obar Al-Fiyah and Al-Faqih canal systems. Work includes sediment, debris, tree, and vegetation removal; canal levelling and shoulder rehabilitation; diversion weirs; stone masonry and gabion protection; concrete apron rehabilitation; steel irrigation-gate supply, installation, testing, and rehabilitation; surveying; signage; environmental and social mitigation; health and safety; end-user training; and related temporary facilities and support. Bidders must provide construction experience, including at least two relevant completed contracts within the last 10 years, with at least one valued at $700,000 or more and a combined value of at least $1,000,000. The bid must include technical and financial proposals, signed and stamped bills of quantities in PDF and Excel formats, technical compliance materials, equipment availability, key-personnel CVs, audited financial statements for 2023–2025, business and tax registrations, relevant completion evidence, and the required returnable forms. The contract duration is 180 calendar days, with a 12-month defects-liability period and performance security of 10% of the contract amount after award.
