Description
College Boreal is requesting proposals from qualified consultant teams to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services for the renovation of its site. The scope includes review of existing property-condition information; investigation of structural, mechanical, electrical, information-technology, fire-protection, and life-safety systems; space planning; conceptual design; detailed construction and issued-for-construction drawings; Class A pre-tender estimating; tender-document preparation; permitting and approval support; and assistance with procurement and construction-contract negotiations. The prime consultant must provide or coordinate the required disciplines, including a licensed architect and Professional Engineer authorized to practise in Ontario, along with specialist consultants as needed. The work is divided into professional services and conceptual design, followed by detailed construction plans and tender documents. Proponents must submit qualifications and experience, project understanding and methodology, a project schedule and work plan, required disclosure, conflict-of-interest, and subcontractor forms, and pricing for both phases plus hourly rates. A mandatory site visit is required, and the proposal must be submitted through the designated online portal.
