Description
The Military Sealift Command is seeking information on U.S. flag vessels for a voyage charter to carry #57 and #89 granite aggregates. The aggregates will be loaded from Aulds Cove and Bayside, Canada, respectively. The discharge ports are Port Everglades and Port of Palm Beach, Florida, in sequence for both types of granite. Vessels should be geared to discharge cargoes at discharge ports, with ship cranes having an offload rate requirement of 8,500 M/T per day minimum and a crane reach requirement of 10.8 meters minimum over dock, utilizing clam shell bucket grab gear with a crane size greater than 30 metric tons SWL with grabs.
