Verdex Construction, LLC, serving as Construction Manager at Risk for the School District of Palm Beach County, is seeking to pre-qualify subcontractors and vendors that have not previously qualified with the firm for the Tradewinds Middle School renovation. A formal invitation to bid package is expected to be made available to prequalified vendors on or about October 23, 2026; project dates, including the pre-bid meeting, and bid documents will be provided with the invitation to bid. The anticipated scope includes complete interior painting, site improvements, fire alarm panel and device replacements, HVAC modifications, water fountain replacements, flooring replacement, interior ADA remedies, and other minor scopes. The project has a 20% SBE subcontractor participation goal, and only firms certified by the School District of Palm Beach County will count toward that goal. Work requires school-district badging under the Jessica Lunsford Act.
