Description
The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, through Housing and Community Development Services, is offering funding for the acquisition, construction, preservation, and/or rehabilitation of multifamily affordable rental housing. Eligible developments must serve low-income households, including households at 30%, 50%, and 80% of area median income, and may be located throughout eligible areas of the San Diego region. Available funding sources include the Innovative Housing Trust Fund, HOME, HOME-ARP, Community Development Block Grant, and Permanent Local Housing Allocation programs. Applicants must submit a completed NOFA Application Workbook, board resolution, applicable partnership agreements, a development pro forma covering at least 20 years, enforceable funding commitments, site-control and zoning documentation, development and supportive-services narratives, management and marketing plans, environmental and market reports, and other documents identified in the application checklist. Applications require both an electronic submission through a secured document-management system with email notification and a USB drive mailed or delivered to the County. The submission deadline is November 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
