Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting a contractor to construct a green waste composting facility in Abbassieh, Tyre, Lebanon. The scope includes site preparation, excavation, earthworks, lagoons with HDPE geomembrane liners, reinforced-concrete works, blockwork, structural steel hangars, roads, retaining walls, drainage, water and fire systems, electrical distribution, solar photovoltaic generation, battery energy storage, diesel-generator backup, CCTV, and related infrastructure. The contractor must also supply, install, test, commission, and train operators on the facility equipment, including a weighbridge, green-waste shredder, windrow turner, loader, rotating trommel screen, bagging auger, compost covers, mobile woodchipper, tipper trucks, office container, wheel-wash system, pumps, tanks, and ancillary tools. Bidders must provide technical and price submissions, a detailed BOQ, construction work schedule, implementation and execution plan, environmental management plan, material and equipment data, key-personnel CVs, relevant experience documentation, audited financial statements, manufacturer authorizations, and required certificates and warranties.
