Description
This two-phase Request for Qualifications concerns repairs to a wharf in Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador. The work includes demolishing, removing, and disposing of existing fenders, chocks, and ladders, followed by supplying and installing new vertical and horizontal fenders and ladders shown on the drawings. The contractor must complete the work within twelve weeks of contract award. Phase 1 evaluates bidder qualifications and experience; qualified bidders will later receive an invitation to tender for the financial phase. Bidders must demonstrate relevant marine-construction experience through two reference projects completed within the preceding seven years and provide proof of active, good-standing registration with WorkplaceNL. The procurement is an open tender with a conditional Indigenous-business set-aside if at least two compliant and qualified Indigenous businesses are identified in Phase 1.
