Description
The City of Edmonton is seeking professional services to develop a Wildfire Risk Overlay for Zoning Bylaw 20001. The work includes creating a zoning overlay map identifying areas within the wildland–urban interface with the greatest wildfire risk and developing related regulations for applying wildfire-risk mitigation requirements to affected properties. The project supports the City's climate resilience objectives by reducing wildfire-related damage and disruption, lowering rebuilding costs, and improving safety for people living in wildfire-risk areas.
